Why this page is short
Most cookie policies are long because most websites use a lot of tracking. We don't. There is no advertising network on this site, no social media pixel, and no cross-site tracking. So there is very little to list.
What we actually use
One functional cookie
We set a single session cookie. It does two jobs: it lets a form you are filling in remember what you have typed if you reload the page, and it remembers which page brought you here so we know how you found us.
This cookie is strictly necessary for something you have asked for, so it does not need your consent. It contains a random session identifier and no personal information.

Analytics
We measure how the site is used, but we do it without cookies and without tracking you across other websites. Because it uses no cookies and does not identify you personally, it does not require your consent — which is why you have not been asked to click a banner on this site.
If we ever switch to an analytics tool that does need consent, we will add a consent banner at the same time, and this page will say so.
What we do not do

Controlling cookies yourself
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies. Blocking the one cookie we use will not stop you reading this site or sending us a form, though a half-filled form may not survive a page reload.
