Our commitment

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA on this website. We build the sites we sell to the same standard, so a website we make for you will not lock out your customers.

What we do

• Every page is built with real headings, landmarks and form labels, so screen readers can navigate it.
• Text and background colours are checked against the 4.5:1 contrast requirement.
• Body text is 18px on mobile, because our readers are usually looking at a phone in poor light.
• Everything can be reached and used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator.
• Every interactive control has a touch target of at least 44 by 44 pixels.
• Images have descriptive text, except where they are purely decorative.
• The site works without JavaScript, and answers on the FAQ pages are always readable.
• Animations are subtle, and everything is switched off automatically if your device is set to reduce motion.
• Forms label their fields, explain their errors in words, and never rely on colour alone to show a problem.

Where we may fall short

We test this site regularly, but some things may still trip you up:

• Example website screenshots. The images showing design examples are pictures of websites, and the small text inside them is not readable by a screen reader. Every one has a written description giving the business name, trade, town and what was built, so nothing is available only through the image.
• Third-party content. If a page ever embeds a map, Google's map is not something we control.

Telling us about a problem

If something on this site does not work for you, we would genuinely like to know. Email [email protected] or call replace-with-us-phone and describe what happened. We will reply within five working days and tell you what we are doing about it.
